Centre should hold talks with Ladakh's people, says Farooq
Srinagar, Sept. 26 -- National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah on Thursday came down heavily on the BJP-led Union government over the mob violence in Ladakh even as he called for the Centre to hold talks with the people of the Union Territory and address their concerns.
"We, the nation itself, the leaders in Delhi are responsible for what has happened in Ladakh. They kept on talking without putting anything in front. So, what do you expect those young people to do..." Abdullah said. "...If such unrest continues here, it is dangerous for our nation. Please make efforts to resolve this quickly and take the path of dialogue without delay."
