New Delhi, March 25 -- Members of Parliament will get a 24% salary hike - from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.1.24 lakh per month - and an enhanced monthly pension of Rs.31,000 after the parliamentary affairs ministry on Monday issued a gazette notification on the proposed changes. The lawmakers will also get a higher daily allowance of Rs.2,500 - as against the earlier rate of Rs.2,000 - for attending sessions and committee meetings. P10
