NEW DELHI, April 28 -- Chief of defence staff General Anil Chauhan on Sunday briefed defence minister Rajnath Singh on the operational readiness of the armed forces following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, with the development assuming significance as India is weighing punitive military actions against Pakistan for its support to terrorism, officials aware of the matter said.
