New Delhi, July 22 -- Delhi is set to get more than 30 new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAM) this month, health minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said during a review meeting on Monday. The government is going to repurpose vacant spaces in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) community centres, banquet halls, and market shops to transform them into AAMs, he said. During the meeting, Singh directed health department officials to identify vacant spaces in MCD community centres, banquet halls, unoccupied market shops, community centres, polyclinics, and unused areas in residential sites to set up AAMs. He said that by the end of August, 75 additional AAMs will be established across the national capital.
