Toronto, Nov. 2 -- India was described as an "adversary" for the first time in an official Canadian government document this week amid heightened tensions between the two countries over the 2023 killing in British Columbia of a pro-Khalistan activist designated as a terrorist by India.
In a section of the report - National Cyber Threat Assessment 2025-2026 released by the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security - on cyber threat from "state adversaries", India has been included along with China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.
