India, April 6 -- Numerous people on social media recently realised that Kiran Rao's 2023 film Laapataa Ladies had some striking similarities with Fabrice Bracq's Arabic short film Burqa City, which was released in 2019. Fabrice spoke to IFP recently about why the similarities between both films left him 'shocked and saddened'.
