LUCKNOW, March 28 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said that Uttar Pradesh has evolved into the "new Uttar Pradesh of a new India," with transparency and efficiency shaping its governance. Addressing an event where appointment letters were distributed to 283 newly selected medical officers and junior laboratory assistants, he credited the state's recruitment reforms for streamlining job opportunities.

The CM said that over the past eight years, 8.3 lakh youths have secured government jobs, a process that could have been delayed indefinitely without transparent recruitment. "Had these appointments not been conducted honestly, they would have been entangled in legal disputes, with no recruitment completed," he said.
