Mumbai, March 5 -- The Bombay High Court on Tuesday stayed a lower court order for a police complaint against Madhabi Puri Buch in a case related to an alleged fraudulent listing of a company on BSE three decades ago.
Apart from the former chair of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), three current Sebi whole-time members, former BSE Ltd chairman Pramod Agarwal and current BSE MD and CEO Sundararaman Ramamurthy are also named in the case.
"After hearing all parties, and after going through the order, it appears that the judge (of the lower Mumbai court) has passed the order mechanically without going into the details and without attributing specific roles to applicants. Order stayed till next date," Justice S.G. Dige of the ...
