New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- In a bid to connect to the grassroots level, Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Wednesday decided to decentralise its organisation across the country by disbanding "mandal committees" and reorganising its various "zone-level committees", people aware of the matter said. Earlier, each "zone" had four to five "mandals", and each "mandal" comprised three to five districts with various coordinators in each to oversee work.
