India, Oct. 20 -- In a major relief for hundreds of pharmacy aspirants and colleges across Maharashtra, the Bombay High Court's Aurangabad bench on Saturday lifted the admission ban imposed by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) on several pharmacy colleges in the state. The court's decision paves the way for these institutions to participate in the ongoing third round of admissions, opening up thousands of seats for prospective students.

The PCI had earlier imposed the ban after finding deficiencies in the infrastructure and facilities of newly established colleges.
