India, Nov. 14 -- As per latest election trends in Bihar, the Bharatiya Janata Party's trusted candidate Krishna Kumar Rishi is leading from Purnia district's Banmankhi assembly constituency with 71,300 votes, holding a significant margin of 22,765 votes over his nearest rival. Deo Narayan Rajak of the Indian National Congress trailed with 48,535 votes, while Manoj Kumar Rishi of the Jan Suraaj Party lagged far behind with 3,846 votes.
The seat was expected to witness a fierce triangular contest between the three candidates, however, data from the Election Commission of India indicated Rishi might emerge as a clear winner.
