India, Jan. 24 -- A community fundraiser has been launched to support a Billings Senior High School math teacher who was injured after being stabbed by a student during an on-campus incident earlier this month.

The fundraiser, organized by the Billings Education Association, aims to help the teacher and his family cope with medical, legal and living expenses as the investigation continues.

According to the GoFundMe page, the teacher and his family have chosen to remain anonymous but expressed gratitude for the "immediate outpouring of support" from the community following the incident.
