India, July 31 -- Two siblings were allegedly burnt alive inside their house by unidentified assailants in Nagwan village under Janipur police station of Phulwarisharif near the Bihar capital on Thursday noon, police said.
The two children - the girl was 15 and her brother, 10 - were alone in the house at the time of the incident, said their father, Lallan Kumar Gupta, a clerk at the election office in Patna. Their mother, Shobha Devi, was a security guard at Patna AIIMS.
Lallan Gupta told police that the incident took place between 12.30 pm and 1pm.
