India, July 26 -- A 30-year-old auto-rickshaw driver was allegedly killed by his wife under suspicious circumstances inside his house in Laguniya Raghukanth village under the Mufassil police station area on Saturday morning, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Sonu Kumar (30) son of Tuntun Jha. According to police, the body was found lying in a pool of blood inside his room, with injury marks visible on his neck when inmates woke up on Saturday morning. Following a preliminary investigation, police have arrested his wife, Smita Jha, for questioning based on her suspected involvement in crime.
