India, Oct. 24 -- The Bengaluru City Traffic Police on Friday conducted a special drive targeting school vehicle drivers found operating under the influence of alcohol. The drive was carried out between 7 am and 9 am across the city.

According to a statement issued by the Traffic Police, a total of 5,881 school vehicle drivers were checked for alcohol consumption during the operation. Of these, 36 drivers tested positive for alcohol.
