India, March 27 -- From April 1, traveling to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) or using Bengaluru's Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) will become costlier.

The annual price hike, linked to the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), will affect all road users, including commuters in personal vehicles, cabs, and public transport services like Vayu Vajra buses.

The revised toll rates by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), will apply at the Sadahalli toll plaza on the airport route (NH 7) and at the Hulikunte and Nalluru Devanahalli toll plazas on STRR (NH 648), according to a report by Deccan Herald.
