New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- The Enforcement Directorate has arrested a social media influencer, Sandeepa Virk, who also runs a beauty brand called hyboo care, in a money laundering case alleging that her website selling beauty products was being used for illicit money transactions, the agency said on Wednesday. Virk was arrested on Tuesday after raids at several locations in Delhi and Mumbai. "ED investigation revealed that Sandeepa Virk has acquired immovable property in her name by making false promises and cheating. She claims to be the owner of hyboocare.com, a website purportedly selling FDA-approved beauty products.
