Barabanki, Sept. 3 -- A clash took place between the police and students at a private university in Barabanki during a protest over an alleged unrecognised law course, an officer said Tuesday. After videos shared on social media platforms purportedly showed baton-wielding policemen confronting demonstrators on the Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University campus on Monday, chief minister Yogi Adityanath ordered removal of the circle officer (city).
