India, March 27 -- Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the 'Night of Power' or the night that the holy Quran was first sent from heaven to the world in Islamic tradition, will be observed on March 27.
Meanwhile, Jumat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of Ramzan will be on March 28 and Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramzan, will be celebrated on March 31.
As a result, banks across Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed on March 27 and 28.
Meanwhile, March 29 is a fifth Saturday, meaning banks will be open that day.
