New Delhi, May 8 -- Former AAP legislator Naresh Balyan on Wednesday withdrew his bail petition from the Delhi high court in a Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) case over his alleged links with UK-based gangster Kapil Sangwan. Balyan's counsel MS Khan told the HC that Delhi Police had recently filed a charge sheet against him and he wished to try his luck before the trial court. The HC permitted the request. Balyan was arrested on December 4 last year in connection to allegations of organised crime and extortion.htc
