India, Oct. 20 -- Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan's tenure as an ODI captain is reportedly set to come to an end as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering a new skipper for the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa, which will be played between November 4 and 8 at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. The new captain will likely be retained in the role until the 2027 ODI World Cup in South Africa.

Rizwan was appointed as the ODI captain last year by the PCB and he led the team to wins in Australia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
