Bhopal, Nov. 21 -- A booth level officer (BLO) died of cardiac arrest in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh one day after he was suspended over alleged negligence in duties and failing to achieve the set target during a special intensive revision (SIR) survey, an official aware of the details said on Thursday. Bhuvan Singh Chauhan, an assistant teacher at a primary school in Jhabua, was suspended on Tuesday. His family alleged that he was under a lot of stress. "My father's workload had increased after becoming BLOs. He was facing issues as there was pressure of surveying at least 100 voters daily," his daughter Sangeeta Chauhan said. htc
