New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- A 23-year-old "habitual criminal", who allegedly formed a gang after being "inspired" by a Bollywood movie Shootout at Lokhandwala character and adopted false name "Maya", was arrested late Monday night following a brief exchange of fire with the special task force of southeast district police near Sarita Vihar flyover, officers said on Tuesday.
The accused, identified as Sagar, was hit in his right leg during the shootout.
DCP (southeast) Hemant Tiwari said Sagar was involved in 19 criminal cases. He was wanted in an armed robbery case committed with three aides in south Delhi on Saturday.htc
