Hyderabad, Nov. 6 -- A 32-year-old auto driver who was caught by the traffic police driving his vehicle in a drunken condition, allegedly died by setting himself ablaze in front of the Kushaiguda traffic police station in Hyderabad, police said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night. "He was rushed to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad where he succumbed while undergoing treatment at around 5.30 am," said Malkajgiri inspector B Satyanarayana.
"His blood alcohol concentration was 120ml/100mg in breath analyser test. Since he was drunk, we seized his auto...," Kushaiguda traffic inspector N Rama Laxmana Raju said.HTC
