New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- Delhi chief minister Atishi said that development work requires well-intentioned and educated people in politics.
Speaking at a public meeting of RWAs and societies in the Vishwas Nagar constituency in support of party candidate Deepak Singhal, Atishi said there are many pending works in the area.
"Some mistakes were made in Vishwas Nagar and a BJP MLA has been elected from here for the last three times. Work could not be done in Vishwas Nagar in the last 10 years and it bothers me," she said.
Taking up the issues flagged by RWAs, she handed out letters promising Rs 20 lakh to each association from the MLA fund, adding, "Think of it like we are issuing blank cheques to you from the MLA fund, which is discretionary."...
