Silchar, Jan. 30 -- A 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her neigbour in front of her kids, after which he threw an acid-like substance on her, in Cachar district of Assam, police said on Wednesday. The woman suffered 70% injuries. The incident took place on January 22 at the woman's house. Her husband said the neighbour raped and tortured her because she refused to give him her phone number. Police said they were trying to locate the accused. P11
