India, Jan. 27 -- England's No.4 batter, Harry Brook, has found the going tough in the ongoing T20I series against India. The right-hander has been found out by Varun Chakravarthy, as the spinner has bowled him twice. After the series opener in Kolkata, Harry Brook gave a bizarre excuse, saying the smog at Eden Gardens made it difficult to read the spinners.
Ravichandran Ashwin cited Harry Brook's dismissal in Chennai in the second T20I to brutally roast the batter for his "smog" comment. Ashwin, who retired from international cricket in December 2024, didn't mince any words, saying the England batter is just not reading the Indian spinner.
