India, Dec. 23 -- Tesla has released a new video on its official Instagram account demonstrating the effectiveness of the HEPA cabin air filtration system on the Tesla Model Y.

In the video, a Tesla Model Y is placed inside a sealed, transparent plastic enclosure designed to simulate an extreme air pollution scenario. The setup is fully air-tight, allowing Tesla to control the air quality inside the enclosure. A BMW SUV is parked alongside the Model Y inside the same enclosure for comparison.

To recreate hazardous air conditions, the Tesla team fills the enclosure with dense red smoke, mimicking severe pollution. Within moments, the enclosure is completely saturated with smoke, significantly reducing visibility.
