New Delhi, April 14 -- Tankers in the ocean are painted with a red coloured chemical, a biocide, called Tributyltin. They do this to prevent algae and other sea creatures from sticking to the vessel's body. But, it also causes enormous damage at the species level -- it changes female murex mussels to male, making it impossible for them to reproduce.
