New Delhi, Feb. 13 -- The Union government on Wednesday notified the appointment of arbitration law expert Tejas Karia as the judge of the Delhi high court, a move that would result in adding a domain expert to the bench.
Union law minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, announced the appointment on X, five months after the Supreme Court collegium recommended Karia's name.
"In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is please to appoint Shri Tejas Dhirenbhai Karia, Advocate, as a judge of the Delhi high court," Meghwal posted on X.
