Imphal, June 24 -- A leader of Meitei outfit Arambai Tenggol (AT) was arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of a 29-year-old differently abled man in Imphal West district of Manipur, police said on Monday. The accused was identified as Longjam Khaba alias Boi (35), a resident of Yumnam Huidrom Thiyam Leishangkhong area of the district. He was arrested from Mongsangei Makha Leikai Arubam Leikai near Puthiba Laibung Complex on Sunday, a statement issued by Manipur Police said. Police said Khaba is the main accused in the murder of Md Chesam Abdul Kadir, who went missing on June 10.
