India, Feb. 21 -- Apple is pulling the plug on its most advanced, end-to-end encrypted security feature for cloud data in the UK after the government sought 'backdoor' access to user data. The Advanced Data Protection feature makes data available only to the account holders using end-to-end encryption.

The feature covers iCloud data storage, device backups, web bookmarks, voice memos, notes, photos, reminders and text message backups. Such data, once covered by Advanced Data Protection, cannot be viewed even by Apple.
