Srinagar, Aug. 4 -- The anti-terrorist operation in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir entered the third day on Sunday as security forces tightened the noose around the terrorists engaged in the gun battle with them. Soon after the gunfight stopped, security forces launched searches in the forests of Kulgam to look for any bodies of militants or ammunition. Officials said that the Akhal forest exchange of fire between security forces and militants which had started on Friday evening continued till Sunday noon. "The firing between the two sides continued from Friday to Sunday noon.
