Amritsar, March 16 -- An unidentified person hurled an explosive device at the Thakur Dwar temple in Khandwala area of Amritsar, triggering a blast that damaged a part of the temple wall and some window panes around midnight on Saturday, police officials said, adding that they suspect the role of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), behind the attack.

The blast was the 13th such incident in the state since November 2024. Police received information about the blast at around 2am, Amritsar police commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said. P8
