Greater Noida, March 26 -- Anamika Hooda is a rarity in Indian boxing. Not many women boxers in India have an out-an-out attacking style that Anamika flaunts in the flyweight. Most boxers are uncomfortable while facing her, and that goes for two-time world champion Nikhat Zareen too.

Short in height, two-time national champion Anamika rushes in, closing the distance with her opponent at every opportunity. She is then relentless with her punches. Close-quarter combat is not typical of Indian boxers. They prefer to fight from a distance.
