India, Sept. 4 -- Seasoned leg spinner Amit Mishra officially announced his retirement from all forms of the game on Thursday (September 4), bringing to a close a career that spanned over 25 years. Citing recurring injuries and a desire to make way for younger talent, Mishra said the time was right to step aside and allow the next generation of cricketers to take the spotlight.
