Bengaluru, Aug. 23 -- Karnataka deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar on Friday sought to put an end to speculation over his political loyalties, ruling out any association with either the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). "I am a Congressman by birth and will remain one for life. My life and blood are for the Congress. I am leading the party today and will stand firm as its pillar," he said at Vidhana Soudha, reiterating that there was no question of shifting allegiance.
