India, Sept. 11 -- With the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia, India have the chance to test their varied bowling attack ahead of the ODI World Cup later this month. Often cited as a weakness in the past because of their batting-heavy composition, India seem to have most bases covered this time.

It will also be the first time in nine months that medium-pacer Renuka Singh Thakur will be back in India colours after recovering from a back injury. Since Jhulan Goswami retired, the 29-year-old has shouldered the responsibility of being India's spearhead.
