India, Sept. 23 -- The Trump administration has proposed a new and stringent H-1B visa process, a move that comes just days after the US President signed a proclamation raising the application fee to $100,000.

The proposal, released via a Federal Register notice, would rework the existing H-1B visa selection process to favour high-skilled and better-paid workers, Reuters reported.

This is a breaking story. We will update with further information.
