Pune, Nov. 30 -- Two men, including an Afghan national, were arrested on Saturday during raids in Delhi in connection with the Maharashtra "fake IAS" officer case, police said. The case involves Kalpana Trimbakrao Bhagwat (45), a former senior assistant at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Maharashtra, who allegedly forged government identity documents, posed as an IAS officer, and stayed at a five-star hotel for six months using a tampered Aadhaar card, police said. She had also allegedly received over Rs.32.6 lakh from several people between January and November this year.
