India, Aug. 13 -- Marathi actor and poet Kishore Kadam alias Saumitra - known for roles in films like Special 26, Jogwa and Fandry - has alleged that a builder was trying to pass off the building in Andheri where he resides as a slum to get more floor space index (FSI) while redeveloping the property. The move could rob residents of the building of their rightful homes, Kadam said in a post on Monday on social media platform Facebook.

On Tuesday, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis took note of Kadam's post and directed the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) and the co-operation department to probe the allegations.
