New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- Casteist and misogynistic slurs were scribbled on a library desk at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), students' union (JNUSU) claimed, following which a group of students was detained.
Police said they received a complaint and are verifying the claims. JNUSU had submitted a complaint to the chief librarian of Dr BR Ambedkar Central Library regarding the incident.
Police said no FIR has been registered yet.
