Kolkata, Aug. 5 -- West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has handed her nephew and the Trinamool Congress' (TMC) national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee charge of the party's Lok Sabha unit amid a fresh public slanging match between its lawmakers Mahua Moitra and Kalyan Banerjee. According to party leaders aware of the matter, Kalyan on Monday offered to resign as the party's chief whip in the Lok Sabha after the fallout.
