New Delhi, July 27 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the garbage mound in front of the Majlis Park Metro Station.
After a visit to the mound, AAP leader and leader of Opposition in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Ankush Narang, said, "The stench from this heap has made life unbearable for locals. The BJP used to talk about removing the three existing garbage mountains in Delhi. But now, instead of eliminating them, it has created a fourth one."
Narang said that during his visit, he saw a Delhi Jal Board (DJB) truck dumping garbage at the site, and claimed that DJB trucks routinely dump waste there.
