New Delhi, Dec. 23 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged discrepancy in official dengue data, stating that the figures presented to the Parliament and those in a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) report were different.
"As per the official answer to a Parliament question on December 16, the health ministry reported 3,746 dengue cases in Delhi. However, in a report released on December 13, the MCD cited only 1,438 cases," Delhi AAP president Saurabh Bharadwaj wrote on X.
Responding to the allegations, an MCD official said the figures for dengue cases presented to the Parliament were higher as they had both confirmed and unconfirmed cases in the city.
