Ghaziabad, March 25 -- With Ghaziabad's Hindon Airport on course to "soon exceed its capacity" of 700-800 daily passengers, Airport Authority of India (AAI) said on Monday that it is planning to expand infrastructure at the civil airport, which currently handles 600 daily passengers.
The airport is planning to launch a new route to Bhubaneswar for which airlines have already opened bookings. Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg has already written to AAI to get connectivity to cities such as Varanasi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Lucknow.
