New Delhi, July 15 -- With just 11 days remaining before the deadline for submission of Enumeration Forms (EFs), the Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced that 66,067,208 electors - accounting for 83.66% of Bihar's total 78.9 million electors - have submitted their forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. In a press note issued on Monday, ECI said this progress follows two extensive rounds of door-to-door visits by booth-level officers. Importantly, the submitted forms reflect changes such as deceased voters (1.59%), permanent shifts (2.2%), and duplicate enrolments (0.73%).
