784 fined at airport for parking offence
New Delhi, April 29 -- The Delhi Traffic Police on Monday said they penalised owners of 784 private and commercial vehicles, including taxis and autorickshaws that were improperly parked around Terminal 1 of the Delhi airport.
The drive was carried out as part of the traffic police's efforts to tackle traffic congestion on arterial stretches caused due to illegally parked vehicles, additional commissioner of police (traffic zone-2) Dinesh Kumar Gupta said.
