New Delhi, June 15 -- A seven-year-old boy died allegedly after he drowned in the swimming pool of a water park in north Delhi's GT Karnal Road on Friday, police said on Saturday. Officers said the boy's family was also in the pool when the incident took place. He was rushed to a nursing home in Sonepat, where he was declared dead. The boy's uncle filed a complaint against the water park management on Saturday. The family lives in Nehru Vihar. DCP (outer-north) Hareshwar Swami said, "The complainant informed his brother about the death. The parents arrived there, took the body home, and performed the final rites."
