IMPHAL, Dec. 15 -- In a series of intelligence-based operations across the state, Manipur police and security forces arrested six cadres of proscribed outfits People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Progressive) and United National Liberation Front, officials confirmed on Sunday. Manipur Police arrested an active cadre of People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Progressive) [PREPAK (PRO)], identified as Thangjam Priyobarta Singh of Bishnupur district, from his residence. On the same day, two active PREPAK (PRO) cadres involved in extortion were apprehended by security forces from the Canchipur area in Imphal West district. They were identified as Kshetrimayum Abinash Singh (21) of Kakching Thonglan Pareng and Rajkumar Daniel Singh (...
